Frequently asked questions
How fast will I receive the quote?
Within one business day of receiving your material. For most manuscripts the assessment is faster; complex XML batches may need a closer look, and we tell you if so.
Is the quote binding?
Yes — once you approve it, the price and deadline are fixed for the agreed scope. If the scope changes later, we re-quote the difference before continuing.
Do I need to pay anything to get a quote?
No. Assessment and quotation are free and carry no obligation.
What if I don't know which service I need?
Send the material and describe your goal. Recommending the right scope is part of the assessment — it is common for us to suggest a smaller service than the client expected.
How do payments work?
We accept international transfer (Wise), PayPal and, within Brazil, Pix and bank transfer. Institutional invoicing can be arranged for universities and journals. Credit card payments are processed through Wise, which charges a card processing fee — this fee is added to the quoted amount and is paid by the client. Bank transfer and Pix are not subject to it. The payment method is agreed together with the quote, before any work begins.
Is my unpublished manuscript safe with you?
Yes. Files are used only for assessment and the contracted service, are never shared outside the editorial team, and this applies whether or not you accept the quote.
